Self taught designer who builds experiences by breaking them down

My journey
At the end of my 2nd year of business school, I felt lost.
Up to that point, I completed 16 months worth of marketing internships, but deep down, I knew it wasn’t what I wanted to do. So I started exploring other paths.
After a handful of coffee chats and a lot of soul searching, I found myself drawn to design. I had a grand vision, I pictured myself working on consumer apps, and the next step was to work on learning design.
Design isn't exactly on the syllabus of business classes, so over the next 2 years I focused on building my craft and taste to become the best designer I could. Everything I know about design came from practice, personal projects, hackathons, internships and even more practice.
Today, I’m a Mobile Product Designer at Tangerine Bank, helping ship new features that make managing money feel simple. Since 2022, I’ve worked across different design roles, which has helped me figure out what kind of design work energizes me most.
One thing’s for sure: I love bringing ideas to life through prototyping. I enjoy exploring different directions, iterating quickly, and building prototypes that feel as close to the real product as possible.
